As a local, who captured Prague for Official Tourist office Prague City Tourism for 5 years, I know the hidden places and off the beaten track scenes.
For having empty places, I highly recommend to start the session early in the morning. I know, it can be hustle, but it's 100% worth it. It's great experience and also, you will get beautiful set of images afterwards.
But, if we can't make it, don't worry, the most overcrowded places we skip.
OUI places
I was thinking how to make it clear and easy for you. So I listed 8 places which would suit to Secret proposal. Once we agree the place, I will suggest the rest of the tour.
Saint Vitus cathedral
It's inside the Castle area. The main cathedral. It would be empty, if we can meet early morning.
The beach by the river
Famous place, worth to visit anyway. Will be empty in the morning, during the day it would be crowded.
The river bank with a view
During the day there are people, mornings are intimate. I really like this place, with the view and off the beaten track atmosphere.
South gardens of the Prague castle
Romantic place, can be crowded later, not intimate, but the view is great. Opening hours at 10.00am, entrance free.
The view point from gardens
It is on the hill, with great view. Empty space. But hilly.
On the Charles Bridge
During the early morning, it can work. During the day is full of people. This image was done at 6am during the summer.
Letna view
More urban place with views on the river, its part of the Letna Park.
Vrtba Garden
It opens at 10am and there are many nice places. During the first moments in the morning, it can work nicely. This garden has special fee for entrance.
Waldstein Garden
It opens at 7am and there are many nice places. During the first moments in the morning, it can work nicely. Entrance is free.
How to tell her? Ho to make it happen?
From my experience, there are a few options that work really well. Also we should share our location an hour before the meeting through iPhone location or different online location service. It helps to see exact places.
- Most girls like to know in advance that they'll be photographed. So you can simply tell her you've booked a photo session with a tour. We will meet at a starting location, I'll greet her, we kick off the session and at one carefully planned moment, we have a secret signal: you get down on one knee and propose.
- You show up at the agreed spot as if by chance. I'll blend in as "just another tourist" with a camera. We use our signal, you begin the proposal, and I go full paparazzi mode. She won't have any idea I'm there because in that moment, she'll be completely present with you.

Please choose the OUI place. It gives us the time when to start. I will send you than the route map with the rest of the photo session.
The tour is bit hilly, to reach the best view points. Keep in mind that we will walk :) because Old Part of Prague is best by foot. Please read the Tips&Tricks bellow.
Payment
Please remember to bring cash for the remaining balance, which will be settled right after the shoot. I got 94Eur on Paypal account, 450 EUR - 94=356 EUR.
Delivery
After the photo session, I will send you a link to your online gallery, which will remain available for one year. The gallery will be ready within 5–10 working days after the shoot.
You will receive a download code with two versions of your photos:
- Small JPGs for easy sharing
- Large JPGs for high-quality prints
During our tour, I also like to capture a few short videos on my phone. I’ll share them with you at the end of the session, and if you’d like, we can create a short reel for Instagram as a little bonus.

Tips&tricks
How to prepare clothing?
In my many years of experience, less is more at this point. Thus, clothing ideally neutral, without cheetah & zebra patterns and large lettering or pictures :).
Or conversely, choose one colour/detail that blends in with everything. Maybe stripes, polka dots, or a single colour.
Pastels and neutrals work wonderfully. White, grey, blue, mustard, pink.. all palette colors work great.
Beard, makeup and jewellery
If you ladies wear makeup, more is less in this regard. Don't worry about it, as the photo will absorb about 30-40% of the beautification and colour. Yes, it does. Ladies, you can apply more :). And if you're not using anything, stick with it. Definitely don't force yourself to do anything.
Choose jewelry and other details according to your feelings and taste.
For gentlemen, I recommend shaving (if you shave) the day before. It's the details that play a role :).
